New Recordings: January 2016

We are blessed to begin 2016 by announcing that Audio Scriptures are now available in 9 more languages – bringing the total number to 937. And recognizing that the amazing milestone of 1,000 recorded languages will be reached within the next 12 months makes this year that much more special to our ministry!

It is our distinct honor to present God’s Word in:

  • Bagheli – India
  • Begak – Malaysia
  • Chin Haka – Myanmar
  • Dedua – Papua New Guinea
  • Koho – Vietnam
  • Molima – Papua New Guinea
  • Okphela – Nigeria
  • Tadyawan – Philippines
  • Persecuted people group (name & location withheld)

As we’ve shared before, Bible recordings from sensitive regions often won’t be identified by name. Please join us in praying for the people in this unnamed language community who deserve the chance to become God’s children through hearing mother-tongue Scripture.

We are also releasing three other recordings that are either newly updated versions of existing recordings or alternate Bible translations in a particular language. Praise God that He is providing further access to His Word for speakers of Kiswahili, Malayalam, and South Bolivian Quechua!

As always, we also want to take a moment to recognize our incredible translation partners – their many years of dedicated labor have made these recordings possible. This month’s Great Commission partners are: Dinh Vinh Sing, Myanmar Bible Society, OMF International, Wycliffe of India, and Wycliffe Bible Translators.

We can’t wait to tell you about even more people who will soon have access to an Audio Bible in their own language. Until then . . . stay in the Word and share it with all who will listen!
