Murray has faithfully served as Chairman of the Board since 2003. His professional career includes 15 years in plant engineering and facility design with John Deere & Company and 30+ years as a real estate broker. He currently operates a real estate business with his wife Carol.
Murray is very active in his church and serves on the church leadership council as well as new members’ orientation staff. His involvement with Faith Comes By Hearing at the board level gives him firsthand knowledge of both good stewardship and results.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
Along with his wife Anet, Jerry started Faith Comes By Hearing (then known as Hosanna) in 1972 as a cassette tape lending library. Thanks to his unwavering commitment to the Word of God, the ministry is now a recognized leader in Audio Bible production and engagement.
Jerry has a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from California State Polytechnic, and managed an avocado packing house in Santa Paula, California, before entering full-time ministry in 1967. He and Anet served as itinerant missionaries in the western U.S. before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jerry has long been a champion for the unique needs of non-literate communities and has helped to pioneer many strategies for making Scripture available in a language and format people can best use.
Clay has the ability to combine his engineering background with “big picture” visionary thinking in order to launch, grow, and maintain far-reaching strategies for Audio Bible production and distribution.
Since joining Faith Comes By Hearing in 1983, Clay has overseen various departments, including Manufacturing, Finance, and Global Partnerships. While heading up the Manufacturing department, Clay’s innovative ideas in pneumatic inking systems and plate processing resulted in far greater efficiency in our cassette duplication and printing methods. While in Global Partnerships, Clay helped refine the Audio Bible recording process and, most recently, integrate global Bible technologies into existing Bible listening programs.
Clay has also launched a number of small businesses and non-profits designed to bless those in need. He also serves as an executive committee or board member of several Christian organizations, and is deeply involved with Scripture-based social transformation initiatives in Peru, India, Kenya, Mexico, and Thailand.
Morgan Jackson is passionate about God’s Word and getting it to people across the world in a way they understand. He serves as Senior Vice President of Faith Comes By Hearing, where he’s worked for decades with partners to record Audio Bibles in the languages of the world.
Morgan is the son of Faith Comes By Hearing founders Jerry and Anet Jackson, and he learned from an early age the importance of uniting the Body of Christ and overcoming obstacles to share the Word of God. He has traveled to more than 80 countries so far to make that happen. Morgan has built life-long relationships with many other people in ministry and supporters who share the same passion for the Great Commission.
Morgan loves to tell stories—real-life stories from the field that help us get a glimpse of how lives are changed after the lost discover that God speaks their language. When he’s at home, he’s blessed to spend time with his wife, Mary, their three children, and eight grandchildren. If Morgan has a fishing pole in his hand, showing one of the grandchildren how to fish, it is a great day!
Jonathan has served with the ministry since 2008. His experience as a small business owner and in non-profit micro–lending, along with a degree in Marketing & Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship and strategic planning to our work with 45 recording teams and over 400 field partners.
Tasked with exploring the concept of Oral Bible Translation, he assembled a stakeholders group that has since taken the idea from a thesis paper and developed it into the reality now known as Render. He has also launched the Virtual Recording platform, and many other strategies and techniques for Audio Bible recordings to be produced more efficiently than ever before.
Jonathan’s commitment to advancing the Gospel is shown through his passion in empowering and equipping the people and partnerships that will make God’s Word known to the world.

Troy graduated from Central New Mexico Community College (formerly Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute) in 1985 with a diploma in Instrumentation and Control Technology. He worked in the aerospace/defense and semiconductor device manufacturing industries for 14 years, until the Lord led him to combine his technical background with humanitarian concerns to minister to unreached people groups. This career change resulted in more than 20 years of service among the poorest of the poor around the world – primarily in creative-access locations.
Troy and his wife returned to the United States with the expectation that the best is yet to come. He joined FCBH in January of 2018 and leads the following teams: Technology Development, Programming, I.T. Programming and Systems, Production, and Facilities.
Mel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, and has been Faith Comes By Hearing’s chief financial officer since 2004.
Before joining the ministry, he served as chief financial officer and secretary/treasurer for several major construction firms, responsible for more than $50 million in annual revenues.
Under Mel’s financial leadership, Faith Comes By Hearing has been a top-ranked charity with Charity Navigator for 14 consecutive years.
