Before my mother, Anet Jackson, started her journey home to be with the Lord, she shared a vision she’d had with me. She told me the Lord showed her the place He had prepared for her. She was surprised that it wasn’t a mansion. I reminded her that Jesus never said He was going to prepare a mansion, but that He was going to prepare a room. We laughed and then she continued, “It was a room, and I could share it with others, or I could keep it for myself.” All I know is that her room must be amazing so it can hold the thousands and thousands of people from every nation, tribe, and tongue who will visit her to thank her.
In my heart, I have no doubt Mom’s generous spirit is thriving. There are no limits, no constraints. She is enjoying everything God has in store for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. She isn’t keeping any of it to herself.
She’s worshipping extravagantly. Together with all the redeemed.
As a family and as a ministry, we live by faith. Our family sacrificed because Jerry and Anet did life that way. Faith Comes By Hearing was founded on the same principle. And in Mom’s honor, we will continue to do ministry that way.
Dad always says Faith Comes By Hearing is like a heart. Hidden, but essential, providing God’s Word in partnership so that all people can hear the Gospel. Mom exemplified that. She worked behind the scenes, but the outcome—recordings of Scripture in the world’s languages—is essential to fulfilling the Great Commission.
I thank the Lord for Mom’s dedication to ensuring everyone has God’s Word in their heart language. She leaves an incorruptible legacy: lives changed for eternity. Mine included.
We weep for now, but as Scripture declares, sorrow only lasts for the night, and joy comes in the morning. Praise the Lord!
Anet's service will take place Friday, January 16, 2026 at 2pm MST at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

Anet. A net.
A simple play on words became a fitting name for Faith Comes By Hearing’s beloved co-founder.
Anet Jackson—wife, mother, friend, and a pioneer of innovative Bible access—lived a life shaped by faith, discernment, and unwavering trust in God. Even as a child, she sensed the Lord’s nearness and carried a bold assurance that He was present and speaking to her. That awareness became the compass by which she navigated every season of life.
Humble prayers for clarity about her faith led Anet to a defining conviction that would anchor her for decades to come. She received God’s gifts believing that every message heard, and every step of obedience taken must be tested by Scripture. That simple, uncompromising standard quietly shaped her life and laid a foundation for the global Audio Bible ministry she would build alongside her husband, Jerry. Faith Comes By Hearing is still rooted firmly in the authority of God’s Word today.
“When you get into the Scriptures and understand them, you realize what Jesus came for was to bring hope; that this life is not it. There's a wonderful life beyond here, and there’s hope in a better life and a wonderful continuing of hope. Our hope is in Jesus Christ.”
Like Christ’s call to Peter in the boat, casting the net was Anet’s way of life. The Jacksons were once an itinerant missionary family, often serving people overlooked or kept at a distance by polite society. Living by faith meant seasons when resources were scarce and the future uncertain, but generosity never wavered. With open hands, Anet made room at their table, believing God would always provide.
Anet bravely embraced God’s adventurous plans. And as the Lord revealed His will to Jerry, their hearts aligned. Past experiences proved great teachers. Missionary life in their house-bus provided the courage and savvy for the challenges and thrills of world travel. Leaving her family and familiar comforts, Anet recorded Scripture, often in makeshift studios of cardboard and blankets, among those best equipped to voice it—the language communities themselves.
The Faith Comes By Hearing family invites you to celebrate the life of Anet Jackson and the countless lives transformed by Scripture access she pioneered. We honor her legacy with continued determination. In partnership, we will carry on the mission to ensure every person on earth knows God speaks their unique heart language.
Until the last one hears, and Christ returns.

Anet understood something profoundly important: that the Word of God is not meant to stay on shelves or in one language, but to be heard, understood, and received in the heart language of every people.
Through tireless dedication to Bible distribution the Jacksons helped ensure that men, women, and children many of whom may never know their name could encounter Scripture in a way that speaks directly to their hearts. Because of this work, the voice of God continues to be heard in villages, homes, and communities where it had never been heard before.
This legacy does not end today.
Every Scripture shared, every story told, every life transformed by God's Word stands as living testimony to a mission carried out with faith, humility, and perseverance.
It has been a little over 10 years since my wife and I, and late Eric Hanson from Christ Community Church visited "The Ranch" in Albuquerque. That may have been the first time I met Anet. She was so full of the Holy Spirit, it was impossible to doubt her love and devotion to our God and Savior. We grieve your loss here, but we also celebrate her homecoming to her place with Jesus. We pray for love and comfort only our Savior can bring in times like these to Jerry, the family, and the entire FCBH team.
Anet is a pioneer of pioneers. Jerry challenging her with what seemed impossible, would eventually become normal - because of her. Years ago she said to me, "I love going on tough trips with missing pieces, because I get to see my sweet Jesus show up." Her courage to take a risk and do hard things - has inspiring me and thousands around the globe to follow her example.
Every so often you encounter someone who has a way of impacting everyone around them and leaving a trail of grace in their wake wherever they go. Anet is one of those people. Everyone I know that knew her was edified and blessed by God through Her. Her life is a gift to the church of God, and her influence will continue to spur us along to clasp our hand in the hand of our Lord Jesus Christ's as He leads in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and in the strength our Father to get His Word to everyone.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Blessed indeed, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!" Revelation 14:13
Mama Anet, you indeed labored and fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Such an inspiration to us all. A life well lived. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest well in the Lord. Amen
We extend our deepest condolences on the passing of the beloved mother of the FCBH family. Her life and legacy will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
During this time of loss, we stand in prayer with the family, trusting in God's unfailing grace and the promise of everlasting peace.
I was blessed to know and work with Anet for over ten years at FCBH. She was an encourager and an inspiration. Anet will be greatly missed in the world of Scripture engagement. I am thankful to have known Anet and Jerry!
Dearest Jackson family, I know you are grieving for a wonderful wife and mother but you do not grieve like the world does.. you know you will see her in heaven one day. A beautiful and wonderful daughter of the most High God. She is in her room to receive you when your time comes. I had the privilege to meet her last year at her sitting room. She prayed for me in her quivering but powerful voice filled with love and compassion. I was overwhelmed by the presence of this lovely daughter of God. Dearest Morgan family - Shalom!!! See you in heaven one day beloved woman who brought so much of the Word to the world. Have a blessed rest now in the arms of Jesus, you great and faithful servant servant of God. Amen!
In this quiet hours of loss, may God draw near and hold our hearts.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." (Psalm 34:18)
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may hope gently rise within us after our struggle to finish the mission entrusted to us we will reunite again in heaven.
We grieve the loss of a life faithfully dedicated to the Lord, yet we do not grieve without hope. God promises that "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" (Psalm 116:15). Though separated for a time, we trust in the assurance that those who belong to Christ now rest in His presence. May the God of all comfort strengthen the family and fill their hearts with His peace (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
In Loving Memory of Anet Jackson (1935-2025)
We honour a servant of God whose life helped bring the Bible to hearts and homes. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with the Jackson family, and may her legacy inspire our daily works.
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." Rev 14:13
Anet Jackson, cofounder of FCBH ministry, was one of the greatest women ministry leaders in our generation. Her gift to the Church was dramatized audio Bible recordings, especially to oral communities. It was my privilege to get to know her and her passion for reaching oral communities still waiting to hear God’s word. May her Vision be fulfilled soon.
Anet was the first person I met at Hosanna, and from day one, she always made me feel welcomed in the ministry. She was encouraging, gracious, kind, generous, and made you feel valued. I was blessed to have served with this amazing woman and will always cherish the time we had together and the valuable lessons she taught me throughout the years. Anet truly exemplified what a servant of the Lord looked like.
I remember her and Jerry well when they both visited at Messiah Lutheran Church in "the early" days when they relocated to ABQ from. I believe Arizona. She was a wonderful lady and is now with the Lord.

Anet Jackson, co-founder of Faith Comes By Hearing, passed away on December 20, 2025. She was 90 years old.
Anet Jackson lived a life marked by deep faith, quiet courage, and unwavering trust in the Word of God. Alongside her husband, Jerry Jackson, she helped establish Faith Comes By Hearing with the conviction that when people truly engage with the Scriptures and understand them, they discover hope beyond this life, a hope for a better life, and that hope is found in Jesus Christ.
“Anet’s legacy is found in the lives changed through God’s Word and in the faithfulness with which she answered God’s call,” said Jeff Solscheid, Chairman of the Board of Faith Comes By Hearing. “She believed deeply in the power of Scripture to transform lives when it is heard in the heart language of the listener. Her obedience, humility, and trust in God helped shape the foundation of this ministry in lasting ways.”
Anet’s faith journey began early in life and was shaped by a deep commitment to Scripture as the final authority for Truth. That conviction guided her personal life, her ministry involvement, and the calling she shared with Jerry to make God’s Word accessible through Audio Scripture.
Together, the Jacksons helped pioneer the use of Audio Scripture as a primary means of Bible engagement, recognizing that much of the world learns orally. What began as a step of faith grew into a global ministry that now serves people across languages, cultures, and generations through partnerships and innovative Scripture engagement tools.
Anet was known for her servant leadership, creativity, and willingness to step into the unknown with faith. While much of her work was done behind the scenes, her influence is woven into the spiritual and cultural fabric of Faith Comes By Hearing.
“Anet helped give this ministry a spiritual foundation rooted in Scripture, trust in God’s provision, and obedience to His call,” said Janet Lloyd, a member of Faith Comes By Hearing’s Board of Directors. “We honor her life with gratitude and continue the work she helped steward with confidence in God’s faithfulness.”
Anet is survived by her husband, Jerry Jackson; her sons Clay, Morgan, and Sandy; her daughter, Cindy and other friends and family members. Faith Comes By Hearing asks that prayers be offered for Jerry and the Jackson family during this time. Jerry Jackson serves as President and Co-Founder of Faith Comes By Hearing. Clay Jackson serves as Chief Operating Officer, and Morgan Jackson serves as Senior Vice President.
Further information, including a memorial celebration honoring Anet’s life and legacy, will be shared in the coming days.
