Founders Jerry and Annette Jackson

Founders Jerry and Annette JacksonHosanna ministry founders Jerry and Annette Jackson have dedicated their lives to sharing God's Word. They began ministering on Hopi and Navajo reservations in the early 1970’s. It was during that time they discovered the power of providing the Word of God in audio. The Bible, they realized, is a closed book to those who cannot read and had minimal impact on oral cultures.  The Jacksons soon had a vision to share God's Word in audio to the world.

Hosanna began as an audio tape lending library in 1972. The ministry soon streamlined its focus to providing Audio Bibles through churches, and the Faith Comes By Hearing listening program was born. With the revelation that two-thirds of the world's population are oral communicators, the need to share God's Word with the oral majority became apparent. Today, the ministry has developed into the world's largest distributor of Audio Bibles.

More than three decades have passed and Faith Comes By Hearing continues to grow and expand.  Under the Lord's guidance and the leadership of the Jacksons, Faith Comes By Hearing's goals are to record and distribute Audio Bibles and launch Faith Comes By Hearing listening programs in 2,000 languages by 2016. From the small tape lending library, to the 50,000 U.S. churches participating in Audio Bible listening programs, to millions of poor and illiterate people hearing Scripture in their mother tongue, Faith Comes By Hearing has shared God's Word with millions of people, making disciples, and bringing His church together.

Morgan and Mari Jackson

Morgan and Mari JacksonMorgan travels extensively on behalf of FCBH and has developed global partnerships with organizations and ministries that play important roles in providing Audio Scriptures in the mother tongues of people all around the world.

The son of Faith Comes By Hearing founders Jerry and Annette Jackson, Morgan has known ministry since his boyhood. He is a great storyteller who relates naturally to people from oral cultures. Morgan is keenly aware of the needs of poor and illiterate people, and his passion comes through as he talks about how crucial it is for all people to have the opportunity to hear God's Word in their heart language. This importance is illustrated by the many testimonies Morgan shares about people whose lives are transformed as they listen to Audio Scriptures.

Morgan and his wife, Mari, have been married for 28 years. They live in Peralta, New Mexico, and have two married daughters and a son who is recently married.
