When the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, the American colonies boldly proclaimed to the world that they were free and independent states. Now, over 230 years later, Americans still value independence and celebrate freedom with picnics, barbeques, and fireworks on the Fourth of July.
The celebration includes remembering and being thankful for our men and women in uniform who actively defend and maintain the freedom we enjoy on a daily basis. Along with that, we are thankful for the partnerships of so many who have supported our troops and helped them find true freedom through the gift of Military BibleSticks.
We are extremely grateful for over 1,450 active-duty and reserve chaplains who have provided Military BibleSticks free of charge to the millions serving in every branch of the service. Their partnership has been invaluable in bringing God’s Word in audio to troops during pre-deployment briefings, counseling sessions, Bible studies, chapel services, and to those who request them.
More than 53,000 Military BibleSticks have been deployed since January, bringing the total to over 439,000, and the demand for these field-friendly, pocket-sized Audio Bibles continues to expand. Testimonies we receive confirm Military BibleSticks continue to change lives:
In addition to reading the Bible daily, having this audio stick enables me to listen to His Word at all times.
It has filled my mind with Good News and not with other temptations.
The Military BibleStick has brought me closer to family during this deployment.
Your support of this project helps say Thank You to our men and women in uniform. Every gift of $25 provides a Military BibleStick kit, which also includes a reply card for troops to request free MP3 Bibles for their spouses and children to bless their entire family.
Faith Comes By Hearing is so thankful for churches like Bethel Church (Boone, IA), Harvest Fellowship (Hamler, OH), Eagles Nest Worship Center (Naples, FL), First Assembly of God (Quartzsite, AZ), Hilltop United Methodist Church (Madison, PA), and thousands more across the nation who have given sacrificially to support our troops!
