Are these Audio Bible Downloads really free?
Yes! Faith Comes By Hearing's mission is to record and use heart-language Audio Bibles to bring His church together and make disciples from every nation, tribe, language, and people. To this end we desire to spread the Word any way we can--and witness the Word of God change lives in the process.
What is special about these recordings?
The majority of our Audio Scripture recordings feature approximately 180 different characters in an original award winning digitally recorded sound track with full sound effects. We encode in the easily accessible MP3 format at 128kb stereo quality, which brings clarity to the life-changing power of Scripture.
How large is a single New Testament download?
Because of language variations, many recordings are as large as 800 megabytes, while most English translations average 550 megabytes. We account for the challenges of downloading such files by offering a free Audio Bible Download Manager that imports the complete New Testament as a playlist in your favorite media player, so it'll be easy to grab and go.

Can I still purchase recordings on cassette or CD?
Technology is changing and cassettes and CDs are almost non-existent. We do have certain languages on cassette or CD still available, but in limited quantities. For information on availability, please call 1 (800) 545-6552 or email us at info@fcbhmail.org .
Why are certain English versions of the Bible not available?
Our vision is to reach and disciple the poor and illiterate all around the world, and to give the Body of Christ the opportunity to be in the Word of God on a regular basis. Because our funding is limited, we focus on reaching those that have never heard God’s Word with a New Testament recording in their heart language.
Is the Old Testament or the complete Bible available in any of the foreign languages?
The New Testament gives the plan of salvation, which is extremely important for those people who have never heard the Word of God. It is reasonable to raise funds to record the 27 books of the New Testament, as opposed to the Old Testament, which is three times longer.
Some foreign languages are available and others are not. Why?
A large percentage of the poor and illiterate people of the world are oral. In order to reach and disciple them, a Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) listening program using the Audio New Testament in their heart language is implemented by our partners. When we receive a request to do a language recording, if we have a partner to implement the FCBH listening program, and when funds are available, the recording will be scheduled. When will my order arrive?
You will receive an email when your order is shipped--usually within two days of order placement. To steward our resources effectively, we choose either USPS or UPS ground depending on the type of order made, so your order will usually arrive within 5-10 business days. If you need to place an order more quickly, please call 1 (800) 545-6552 during regular hours, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs. Please keep in mind that if you order multiple items they may ship separately.

The Audio Bible Download Manager is a program for Windows and Mac that allows you to download one or more MP3 Audio Bible New Testaments directly to your computer using your Internet connection.

I'm having trouble downloading and starting. Can you help?

I get an error while downloading. What should I do?
If you get an error involving "Connection reset by server" or "Cannot connect," please wait while the download manager attempts to reconnect. If the problem persists, close and reopen the application. If closing and reopening the application doesn't work, we apologize and request that you email us and describe your problem in as much detail as possible here. Thank you for your patience.
