Churches from all across America came together to provide more than 25,000 BibleSticks to our troops, and together with other donors, so far more than 30,000 Military BibleSticks have been distributed to chaplains around the world.

Thank you so much for being a part of answering the prayers of chaplains and servicemen and servicewomen stationed around the world.

We have received hundreds of testimonies about the power of God's Word in audio to provide comfort, strength, and hope in the midst of extreme stress and danger. And the audio format, small size, matte-black design, and red-light-only operation make the Military BibleStick the perfect tool for listening to God's Word while on deployment.

As a chaplain from Iraq shares, "My soldiers are on the roads every day hauling supplies. The convoys can last up to 48 hours, and they can't take much with them. These BibleSticks can easily fit inside their cargo pockets so that when they are on break, they can take a few minutes to hear the Word of God and be spiritually edified."

A Marine just back from Iraq says, "The Marines loved the dramatized version. After a few months of deployment, you run out of DVDs to watch and CDs to listen to, so they began to want to listen to the Audio Bible on the BibleSticks. We had one Marine who claimed to be an atheist, and after about two months, he asked for the BibleStick."

A Navy pilot says, "This has been the most useful thing I've ever had. Every day I listen . . . and it has brought me closer to God."

Now, with the recent mandate to deploy 30,000 new troops to Afghanistan, we want to be prepared to meet this need and provide 30,000 more Military BibleSticks to those headed into harms way. We already have thousands of requests from over 200 chaplains and more are coming in as word spreads.

Troy Carl, Faith Comes By Hearing's national director says, "These brave men and women are asking for the Word of God. We want to be able to provide for each one of them. We are hearing stories of our Military BibleStick being passed around and shared by entire companies, and we have received letters from men saying, 'I wish we would have had this BibleStick when we were in the dark, hunkered down, under stress, and couldn't move. We couldn't read our Bibles—it would have been great if we would've had a BibleStick.' "
