In the Brazilian rain forest, the small village of Makita sits along the muddy banks of an Amazon River tributary.  When the conditions are ideal, the trip takes two days by boat.

Audio Bibles Make The Cut

Audio Bibles are suiting up.  Hundreds of student athletes across college campuses are listening to God’s Word in audio.  In fact, student athletes from more than 20 major universities, including Auburn, Stanford, Rutgers and Virginia Tech, will listen through the entire New Testament as part of a campaign called You’ve Got The Time.  In this volunteer Bible listening initiative, participants listen through the entire New Testament by devoting 28 minutes a day for only 40 days.   read more »

Dramatized Audio Bibles Impacting Albuquerque

Audio Bibles are stirring up Albuquerque churches as they listen to God’s Word.

“We started the listening program for the second time on January 6,” said Pastor Bryan Hackett from Edgewood Believers Fellowship.  “Our last day of listening will be Valentine’s Day, so we are looking at this project as if we’re reading our ‘Letter of Love from Dad’,” he said.

New listeners commented on how the audio drama format brought clarity to their time in the Bible.

“The dramatized version helped me hear things that I have missed while reading God’s Word,” said one New Hope Northwood church-goer.  read more »
