Troy Love is Pedaling across the country for Proclaimers
Troy Love is a man on a mission.
August 1st, Love crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and began riding his bicycle east through San Francisco. Over the next 52 days, Love will ride about 3,785 miles to Yorktown, Va., raising awareness and funds for solar-powered Audio Bibles, called Proclaimers®.
A Proclaimer® is a dedicated audio player that can be used in the world's most remote and rugged locations. Designed by the non-profit Audio Bible ministry, Faith Comes By Hearing, the Proclaimer®'s embedded microchip is pre-loaded with an audio recording of New Testaments in over 400 foreign languages of the world. Indigenous pastors, priests and community leaders use these Audio Bibles to start Bible listening groups. Villagers in groups up to 300 gather around to listen and then discuss what they've heard. By interacting with the Word of God, people come to know and follow the God of the Bible.

Over 100 Groups Provided Audio Bibles for Haitian Outreach
Proclaimers In the Midst of Post-Earthquake Suffering
After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in mid-January, hundreds of disaster relief teams, aid agencies, NGOs and governments rushed into Port au Prince to provide the necessary food, water and medical supplies.
One non-profit ministry, Faith Comes By Hearing, came alongside more than 100 of these groups to provide 3,400 solar-powered Audio Bibles, called Proclaimers®, to minister to the Haitians' spiritual needs.
While relief efforts are meeting physical needs, Faith Comes By Hearing's Audio Bibles are helping to bring the promises of God in the heart language of the people so desperate for hope and answers.
