Faith Comes By Hearing is dedicated to recording Bible translations for every language (ethnos) group in existence today. While these recordings are a wonderful way to help literate cultures around the globe come closer to the Word of God, we believe they have a much more divine purpose.
Right now, an astounding 50% of the world’s population can neither read nor write, which means the only way they can benefit from our hundreds of Bible translations is to hear them aloud in their native tongue. That is why we believe our calling is to record and share our Bible translations with the 6,809 identified languages (or ethnos) in the world today so we can unite His Church and join his disciples from every nation, tribe, language and people.
In our own country, our selection of translated Spanish Bibles in audio have provided bilingual children the chance to experience the daily Scriptures in their native tongue and help them learn to read. We have also shared our Spanish Bible translations with impoverished communities Mexico and South America, and shared numerous Bible translations with villagers in over 22 countries in Africa. In all, we have recorded Bible translations for 283 languages, reaching 4.3 billion people in 93 countries.
