Africa

Africa is a continent of cultural, economic, political, religious, and geographical diversity. Over 910 million people speak 2,110 languages representing 3,500 ethnic groups. Deepening poverty, increasing religious tension, and the AIDS epidemic are growing concerns on this many-faceted continent.

 

God Transforms and Strengthens

"Since I started listening to the Word of God through the Proclaimer, my Christian walk is greatly improved. Despite being responsible in the church, I still consulted seers and medicine men to protect myself against witches and evil men. I learned through the Proclaimer one day that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so I shouldn't destroy my body by fetishes, but should rather trust the Lord who protects His children. Consulting diviners and seers is a common practice in our village, and many Christians do so. Now, I pray that God transforms the lives of other Christians as He did for me."
